Sattu , a healthy sustitute

Hey friends! do you know I have discovered one thing ! a super fast weight losing foodstuff! want to know what that is ? U will not believe ......That is Sattu. It is a very popular cereal used in South Asia.
          It is available in market as dry powder. It can be prepared in various ways as a principal or secondary ingredients of dishes.It's very much popular in Bihar & Uttar Pradesh.
Sattu was originally made of roasted gram flour but has now evolved to include other nutritious flour like barley, wheat etc. It is prepared in several ways including parathas, laddoos, litti chokhas and more variations.

Why is Sattu Healthy ?
  • It is a perfect blend of balanced nutrients and is prepared in one of the healthiest cooking methods - roasting. In this method, the nutrient value is retained and the shelf life of ingredients are increased.
  • It is high in fiber which makes it healthy for intestine. 
  • Having low glycaemic index, is good for diabetics as well. Sattu also have cooling properties.
  • At last but not least it also helps to burn fat. 
If u are thinking of losing weight fast and can not find a good substitution for your hunger then Sattu can be a great option. 

How to Make Sattu Drink ?

  • Take a glass of light Hot water
  • add sattu powder proportion of water, for example if you take a large size glass then you should add 4-5 table spoon(approx) powder. Try to make the solution thick as it's going to be a substitute of your hunger.
  • Add a 2 spoon of Honey instead of sugar.
  • Add a lil bit salt. (very little!)  
  • And blend it properly or stir it.
  • You can add some Milk powder too. (optional)
Drink this mixture twice a day . For example you can drink this mixture as a substitute of breakfast and dinner, or lunch and dinner or lunch and breakfast. But i would recommend the first one , breakfast & dinner. 
Just try this method for 2-3 weeks , you can loose up to 3-4kgs for sure. There is no side effects.

Remember:- do not try to skip your lunch by sattu if you are a beginner. Do it step by step. for beginner i will recommend this mixture only once a day. Eat plenty of veggies at lunch. And drink at least 1 litr of water everyday.

hair exercise :)

No , am not joking at all ! Like our body our hair needs a regular exercise to be long and perfect!
so, let us see the exercises ---

  1. Scalp massage exercise:-  one of the simple hair growth exercise is scalp exercise. it is important to massage the scalp for good hair growth as it increases the blood circulation in our scalp. Massaging the scalp helps in blood flow in the scalp thereby making other nutrients available to the hair follicles and improving the hair productivity. May be you don't know but scalp massage is for hair growth, but most people think it's just a fun because they feel it doesn't yield results yet it does. 
                                              

2. Rubbing Nails(Balayam yoga):-  There are few points presents in our body better known as acupressure points which when properly treated can results in good hair-growth. It also helps in improving blood circulation in the scalp, revitalizing the hair follicles. One such a yoga technique is Balayam where the acupressure points associated with the growth of hair are massaged. These points are present mainly in the tips of finger(under the finger nails). Massaging these points helps to stimulate the hormones which promote hair growth and hair darkening. Besides hair loss, Balayam yoga also cures dandruff and premature graying of hair. By doing this , the roots of the hair follicles connected to the fingernails pump energy to the scalp needed for hair growth.
                                          

3. Standing forward fold pose (Uttanasana):-  Uttanasana is a forward bending pose which relaxes us from stress and anxiety.  In this pose your head will be hanging below your heart which allows blood to circulate properly in your scalp leading to proper hair growth. It also brings some blood back to the brain while giving a great stretch to the legs. Uttanasana also helps in de-stressing and gives relaxation from all our anxiety and tensions which is the primary reason of Hair loss.                                                                        


4. Diamond pose (vajrasana):-  Vajrasana is the simplest of all the asanas which can be practiced after lunch or dinner. This asana helps to  digest, and it is believed that a good digestive system is the key of healthy body. This asana also improves hair growth. This asana is also  known as "Diamond pose". This asana should be avoided for the people who suffer from joint pain problem.              
             
                                      

5. Camel pose(Ushtrasana):- This asana is very useful in treating back problems and helps in relaxing the mind , improves blood circulation and respiratory system which ultimately promotes hair growth.       
                                        

6. Head stand pose (shirshashana):- People suffering from hair loss or hair fall problems should perform this asana daily. Do as given in the picture below.

7. Jogging:-  Running enables us to perspiration activity  which brings out the actual scalp’s skin pores as well as leg techniques away all of the harmful toxins which are harmful to the head of hair problem together with everything perspiration.                                                                                                                        

8.  Kapalbhati Pranayam:
Kapalbhati pranayam is the best known form of breathing exercise which helps to oxygenate your body while strengthening the muscles of your stomach and abdomen.It also helps to give one’s scalp all the oxygen it needs to rejuvenate damaged hair and helps it grow. Kapalbhati pranayam helps the digestion power which acts as an added bonus for beating hair loss.                                                                                          
Now, I think u believed that hair needs exercise too. So, don't be late and start these exercise as fast as you can.

Christopher Columbus has titled papaya as "The fruit of the Angels" because of it's luscious taste and rich health benefits.
We have all seen a papaya and ate it but only a few people knows about it's contribution toward our health. So, in this post I have decided to disclose the benefits of papaya for our hair --                                                  
                         
According to hair experts , using papaya for hair may help with removing build up residue from cleansing products and chemicals and also restores hair's natural shine and softness. According to studies , the nutrients in papaya help prevent balding. Eating the fruit at least thrice a week can reduce hair thinning. Hair Musk containing papaya can help treat dry and flaky scalp. As it is rich in minerals , vitamins and enzymes, papaya acts as a natural conditioner, making your  hair softer and smoother.

Papaya Hair packs can be a very good option for those who don't like eating it. So the pack recipes given below---

1.Remove the seeds of Raw papaya and blend the fruit with half a cup of yogurt, Leave the paste on your hair for about 30 minutes and then, rinse.

2.  Blend papaya, banana, yogurt and coconut oil together into a thick paste. Apply it to damp hair. Wrap a towel or use a shower cap for half an hour to generate heat in your scalp. Rinse with warm water.

Long hair secret :)

Today I'm gonna discuss about a common issue which makes u cranky every day and that is "Hair loss"... I know many of you are thinking that i am gonna give you a long recipe to make hair packs but no .... not at all... i will just tell you 3 simple food names which will help you to grow new hair and also prevents the hair loss. So, are you ready ????? keep reading below ----

1. Milk- Yeah yeah i know that most of you hate this, but trust me guys #Milk is the only food that will give you a complete nourishment to your hair. I am saying you that from my personal experience and it is scientifically proved. Take one glass of milk twice a day and you can see the effect with in 2 weeks. Milk is a boon for dry and rough hair. Rubbing it on your scalp can nourish your hair from inside and out. Just smear some milk all over your scalp and wash off after a few minutes. It will make your hair naturally smooth and silky. It works as a conditioner too, all you need to do is fill a spray bottle with some cold milk and spray it on scalp after that comb your hair gently and wash it off after 30 minute. You will not require a conditioner as the milk has already conditioned your hair.
2. Bananas- Yeah i know many of you also hate banana. But this is a very much essential fruit for your hair.  It is also a great moisturizer for your hair. Try to eat banana blended with milk. It is high in protein and also very much good for your hair health. It also helps to grow new hair naturally.
You can eat it twice a day or you can use it as a hair pack too.  Just keep the banana mixture on your hair for 45 minutes and wash it off. Use this hair pack twice a weak and see the amazing result with in 2 weeks. 
                          

3. Almonds-   Well, most of we use almond oil for our skin. But it has a great nutrition value for our hair too. It contains polyunsaturated and mono fatty acids and as well as vitamin A, D, B1, B2 & B6.
This nutrients penetrate into the hair stands to make the hair healthy and beautiful. The combination of fatty acids and fats in almonds softens, straightens and nourishes the hair.Almond contains high amount of magnesium which is essential mineral for growing healthy hair. It helps to encourage the hair growth. You can eat it on daily basis(early morning in empty stomach) or use it's oil on your scalp three times a week (before bath, keep it for 45 minutes).
                       
So these are three essential foods which will make your hair stronger, more beautiful and moisturized.
You can use these three together as a milk shake as well. Take a glass of milk and blend it with almond and banana, you can add some honey for flavor. Eat this shake daily in empty stomach and after dinner.
